TRIGGER WARNING: Medical stuff, blood. All in all, a bit of a bummer story.

Gather around while I tell the uncomfortable tale of my birth story, which I chose to write out to help myself process this somewhat unhinged experience. Written with enough fun little pictures to keep the darkness away.

Let’s start at the beginning. My wife and I started the fertility process. We knew it would take some time and multiple attempts. We were very happy with that positive test result, and so began the pregnancy journey.

Linkin Park Has Returned

For those who know me, Linkin Park is my all-time favourite band and has been since I’ve been 10 years old. 10 years old is when I started to dive into creative writing. This isn’t a coincidence, the band and lead singer were the reason I thought ‘hot damn, words in sentences is nice.’
Now imagine that a little bit more poetic and with proper grammar.

You’re Not Meant For Everyone

At a previous veterinary clinic I worked at, I overheard a woman tell her timid Great Dane, “you’re not meant for everyone.” I thought that was some deep, meaningful stuff, and I applied it to my own rescue dog and eventually myself.

It began when my fiancée and I filled out a form to adopt a dog. She wanted a medium to large lab type, and I wanted a pug. We compromised and opened our heart to the next fairly young dog that needed a home. The only condition was that we have two rescue cats, so their safety was our main focus. ENTER KAZOOEE.
